Grady Jarrett responds to Bobby Petrino, says Death Valley is always shaking

View Full Profile was asked about Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino's comments about Death Valley, and he said the Cardinals will find out the truth Saturday.

Louisville plays at Clemson at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, and Petrino said during a press conference Monday that he doesn't expect Clemson to be louder than Syracuse, the Cardinals' opponent last Friday.

“I think it’s something you look forward to and you enjoy. And to be real honest with you, it’s going to be very similar to last week,” Petrino said. “That was a loud place. I don’t know if it can get any louder, even though the crowd wasn’t that big. That first third down – when everyone started screaming and yelling – maybe it can’t get any louder than that. But the stadium will be big and there will be a lot people there."

Jarrett said Clemson is different than any other stadium in the nation.

"They will be here Saturday, man. They will be here Saturday," Jarrett said with a smile. "At the end of the day, we still have to play the game. That is the only thing that really matters, is the teams on the field. But when you get those fans in Death Valley, you can’t say that it is not going to affect you. It gets loud in here – when we watch film the camera is shaking. We have watched film of a whole lot of places, and we’ve never seen anybody’s camera shaking. Every time we watch film in Death Valley, that camera is shaking. It’s a special place to play and we love it."
