Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Myles Murphy was injured during Tuesday's preseason joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts at the Paycor Stadium practice facility.

Murphy was cutting back in the backfield and went down on a non-contact play, injuring his right knee. The training staff helped him on a cart, and he was evaluated in the locker room.

According to reports, there is good news for the former Tiger, as there is no torn ACL but just an MCL sprain.

The former first-round draft pick out of Clemson could be ready to go for Week 1 of the season against the New England Patriots.

During his rookie season, he had 20 tackles and three sacks in 2023.
